🐮 Lazy Days in Tampa Bay

Cow Creek Farm
There’s something so easy about a staycation. You’re getting “away,” but not so far away that you have to worry about all the things you would if you were going away-away. You know what I mean? Now that Campers Inn RV has reopened Lazydays RV Resort on I-4, it’s the perfect spot for us to get away while still staying close to home. It’s conveniently located between Tampa’s beaches, the Riverwalk, Ybor City, and I-75 - plus it’s within a reasonable distance of Orlando’s theme parks and attractions. And for us, it’s even a little closer than home to Producerman’s hometown of Cocoa Beach, which makes it that much easier to sneak back for visits with old friends and family. Don’t believe us when we say this campground is one of our favorites? Come check it out for yourself! We’ll be hosting our Rally November 12–15, and that would be the perfect time to visit because we’ll get to show you around ourselves! (Although, honestly, come anytime!) And if you haven’t heard the story behind what’s going on at LazyDays . . . Oh. My. Word. There’s a LOT to catch up on, and this week’s episode is the perfect one to tune into!

Fishing with Capt Chris Camps
Did you know Mr. Producerman used to produce fishing shows for Discovery, Fox Sports, Outdoor Life Network, and Florida’s Sunshine Network - for more than 20 years? Patrice and Kevin owned and produced a TV series (Addictive Fishing) that was arguably one of the most popular fishing shows on television during its time. Always behind the scenes. Always working. And doing just about everything except hosting. Flash forward to the last five seasons of RV There Yet? TV, and they’re still doing everything behind the scenes - they just get to have a little fun on camera now, too! So when we decided to film this week’s episode in Tampa and add a fishing segment, there was only one call to make: Capt. Chris Camps of Triple C Charters. He was the perfect guide to help us make it all happen. It’s always a little weird for Kevin to be on a boat filming a fishing segment and NOT go into full producer mode, but he did great! We caught some saltwater trout, a couple of flounder, a ladyfish, and even saw some rolling tarpon. Patrice did her fair share of catching, too - but the day was HOT, and the storm that rolled through the night before left the water a little choppy. Needless to say, Patrice turned a few light shades of green throughout the day. If you like to fish, love being on the water, and want to get your toes wet, Tampa Bay is gorgeous - and Capt. Chris Camps is the perfect host to show you a great time.

Tampa Bay Sporting Clays
Sporting clays is a shotgun sport designed to simulate real hunting conditions, with shooters moving through a natural-terrain course and taking on clay targets launched at different speeds, angles, and distances. It’s challenging, exhilarating - and, once you break that first target, just a little addictive!
We hadn’t shot clays in a long time, so while putting together this week’s episode, we thought . . . why not give it another shot? We headed to Tampa Bay Sporting Clays & Archery, a true gem in the middle of Land O’ Lakes, Florida. With beautiful courses, plenty of challenges, and something for beginners and seasoned shooters alike, it made for one unforgettable day. But the big question is . . . who was the better shot?
