Heading into our recent episode shoot of
RV There Yet? TV
in the entertainment-rich city of
Branson, Missouri, the entire production crew was buzzing with excitement. The itinerary
promised a perfect blend of high-energy activities and genuine local
experiences, ensuring that each day offered a little bit of something for
every member of the team.
Our schedule was a smorgasbord of
Branson's best. We dove into the area's culinary scene, sampling everything from
Ozark comfort food
to innovative dining. We immersed ourselves in the local history, exploring
sites that told the story of the region. For the thrill-seekers, a visit to
Silver Dollar City
provided exhilarating fun on world-class roller coasters nestled high in the
Ozark hills. The adventurous side of the
Ozarks
called to us as well, leading to an exciting off-roading excursion through the
rugged, beautiful terrain.
We also took time for some more relaxed, scenic moments. We explored the
charming local shops, picking up unique souvenirs and meeting some of the
friendly
Branson locals. As the sun began to dip below the horizon, painting the sky in fiery hues,
we took a serene ride on the
Ferris Wheel, capturing a stunning, unforgettable sunset view over the city.
The true highlight of the shoot, however, was the opportunity to sit down for
an interview with
Dean Z, the acclaimed
Ultimate Elvis Champion. The anticipation for this segment was immense, as we knew his performance
and his insights into the legacy of "The King" would be an incredible feature for the show. The entire trip was a
phenomenal success, blending the natural beauty and adventure of the Ozarks
with the unparalleled live entertainment that makes Branson a unique travel
destination.
Unbeknownst to all of us, this was the ultimate way to conclude our week
of filming in Branson! Even now, days later, the entire crew is still
buzzing and talking about the experience. Dean, the remarkable man behind
the performance, is a true professional—gracious, incredibly talented, and
possesses a stage presence that is nothing short of magnetic. He doesn't
just sing and dance; he becomes the King, truly beaming the spirit of
Elvis Presley
down onto the stage for every moment of the show.
But his talent transcends mere impersonation. While Dean pays tribute to
Elvis exceptionally well—capturing the look, the sound, and the iconic
energy—he's also just plain good at lighting up a room with his own
authentic voice and engaging persona. His warmth and showmanship are
infectious. Watching him perform was the perfect, high-octane ending to a
successful week of production.
We captured some truly spectacular footage and are so incredibly excited
to jump into the editing suite to cut this episode together. We cannot
