This new reality travel series, starts on Saturday, January 1 at 8am ET
& PT on
Discovery Channel, will take viewers along on a road trip to explore America featuring wild
adventures, crazy detours and campfire fun along the way. Our crew will
hike, camp, explore, taste and experience their way across this beautiful
country. Buckle up and hit the road with a former Park Ranger and general
know-it-all, a hippie fashionista from
Rabbit Hash, KY, a self-proclaimed RV kitchen culinary expert, and an adrenaline-junky
television producer. Backed by the National Park Service, our main focus is
to visit as many U.S. National Parks, National Monuments, and State Parks as
we can while taking the side roads to see some of the more interesting and
quirky national treasures. Each episode will highlight just how incredibly
diverse and unique this country is. We have some of the most spectacular
resources within our reach, and we can’t wait to show you just how lucky we
are to live in America. From Nebraska to Arizona to Florida, traveling in an
RV is the ultimate adventure and the RV There Yet? crew will take you along
with them.
Episode #1 will take the RVTY crew to Southern Arizona to camp at
Kartchner Caverns State Park
in Benson, Arizona. Kartchner has the tallest cave column in the country and
it is spectacular. Episode #2 takes the crew through Nebraska on their way
to
Wind Cave National Park
in South Dakota. Along the way, they learn about
Arbor Day, explore Platte River State Park on mountain bikes, and hike to 4,000 feet
in Chadron State Park. In Episode #3 the RV There Yet? crew heads to
Grand Canyon National Park
staying at Desert View Campground for a night, hiking Ranger Dave's special
hike, learning about the South Rim Trailer Village and ending with an 8 mile
RAD bike ride to Hermit's Rest. In episode #4, Patrice and Kevin are
camping at Fort De Soto Park on Florida's West Coast. When weather moves in,
the RV There Yet? crew has to make alternate plans for inside fun including
the
Dali Museum, Tampa Bay
Grand Prix kart racing and zip lining the Canyon in Ocala, Florida. In
episode #5, Patrice and Kevin are on a solo trip to Florida's Space
Coast staying at Jetty Park Campground with a visit to the Exploration
Tower, Port Canaveral and
Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. This RV There Yet? episode ends with an RV eco-drive at the
Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge.
Patrice McCabe says," In each episode we will challenge each other to climb
the highest peak, zip across the fastest zip lines, and tip toe to the edge
of breathtaking vistas. After the hike, grab a seat around the campfire,
share in some good food and laugh about all our adventures." You can ride
shotgun in the front seat so please join the ride! Watch the

We have so many interesting ways to get involved with the show. The RV There
Yet? website has many fun sections including Where To Stay, Trip Maps,
RV Recipes, Full Episodes and more. The Where To Stay section has every campground we
stayed at on the show including KOA Kampground stops on the way out and back
to the studio. Trip Maps were added from feedback from the show. He asked
and Producerman made interactive Google Maps, so viewers can click on the
Google driving directions map and visit all the places we did on the show.
Fun stuff! Patrice is the master chef and her section is the RV recipes. She
is just getting started with a few recipes but bookmark the page because
this section will be a big part of Season 2. Don't forget full episodes are
also on the website for you to access any time you want.
The RV There Yet? Facebook page is a great resource for where and when to
watch the shows and where the cast will be at
