🚍 How We Got Started RVing

Our First Winter RV Trip
This is how and when our RVing adventures really began . . .

For more than 20 years, we owned and produced a fishing television series  called "Addictive Fishing" that kept us constantly on the move. From tournaments to boat shows to tradeshows, life was one long road trip.

Then in 2005, Mr. Producerman had a simple idea: “Let’s get an RV.” (We purchased a 2005 Itasca Suncruiser - 38 footer, Patrice would never drive it. Ha! My, how things have changed.)

That decision changed everything.

Addictive Fishing Mogan Bus
Our RV quickly became more than just transportation - it was our tradeshow booth, our lodging, our kitchen, our production headquarters, and our home base all rolled into one. It saved us money, made life on the road easier, and somewhere along the way we fell completely in love with RVing.

Even after we retired the “Mogan Bus,” we peeled off the wrap and kept right on rolling exploring this incredible country every chance we got.

And I guess the rest is history . . .

Filming in Catalina Island, CA
For more than those 20 years, we’ve been immersed in the world of television, handling just about every role behind the scenes. That all changed with RV There Yet?, when we stepped in front of the camera and discovered a whole new side of production we never expected.

Even now, we’re still deeply involved in every aspect behind the scenes, but getting to tell stories on camera has added a whole new layer to what we love to do.

From our fishing series Addictive Fishing, to working with FLW on tournament coverage, to producing commercials, pilots, and everything in between - every experience has shaped our journey.

Most of all, it’s given us a deep appreciation for the incredible team around us, the sponsors who’ve supported us, and the amazing places we’re lucky enough to call “work.”
