There’s something special about spending the day in the heart of a community. That’s where you discover why people chose to put down roots, meet the passionate locals who work tirelessly to help their town thrive, and experience the businesses that continue to keep its heart beating every single day. Shopping local and dining local are always part of our adventure, and Historic Downtown Branson did not disappoint! We spent the day exploring the charming streets, visiting with local business owners, and hearing the stories that make Branson so unique. One highlight was our interview with Steve Hartley of the iconic Dick’s 5 & 10. Standing right on the corner of the bustling downtown intersection, Steve shared memories of growing up in Branson, helping his parents run the family store, riding his bike to deliver flyers and coupons to the local RV park, and how proud he is of the businesses and neighbors who continue working together to keep downtown Branson vibrant for future generations. For lunch, we couldn't resist trying something completely different! Walkers Branson isn't just another taco restaurant - it's a full-blown experience. This undead-themed walking taco hotspot lets you choose your chips, pick your protein, and "survive the apocalypse" with creations like the Zombie Walker, Chipocalypse Taco, and Mutation Station Madness. Trust us...it's unlike anything you've ever seen!

We walked into their office in Branson, picked our tour, signed the waiver, and climbed into the Jeep with our guide, Brant. What we thought would be a relaxing day of filming - a scenic drive with a few stops to learn about the area's fascinating history and soak in breathtaking views of the river and lake quickly turned into a gut-busting, breath-stealing, face-aching adventure we'll never forget! From the moment we buckled up, Brant, whose family roots in Branson go back an incredible 12 generations, had us captivated with fascinating stories, local history, and fun facts. We stopped at spectacular overlooks to take in panoramic views of the city . . . and then it was time to leave the pavement behind. Once we went off-road, the real adventure began! You'll have to watch this episode - and the bonus footage we'll be sharing later this season - to see just how wild, hilarious, and unforgettable this ride really was. A huge hats off to our camera crew for capturing every laugh, bounce, and unexpected moment. Filming all that excitement was no easy feat!

Dean is an Elvis tribute artist - but don't mistake him for just another impersonator. He's an artist in his own right. Incredibly talented, Dean plays seven instruments, sings, dances, choreographs his shows, and oversees every detail - from the lighting and costumes to the moment he steps on stage. Dean isn't simply imitating Elvis; he's celebrating and sharing Elvis's music in a way that reminds audiences why the King of Rock 'n' Roll changed our culture, captivated millions, and left fans wanting more. His performances honor a legacy that continues to inspire generations. Once you experience Dean Z's talent, you'll understand why he's considered one of the very best at what he does. Dean's love for Elvis's music and on-screen charisma began at a young age and has shaped an incredibly unique and impressive career. We were thrilled to meet the man behind the jumpsuit before seeing him perform. It gave us an entirely new appreciation for the show and the passion behind it.
