Back at our campsite, we're joined by a very special guest, Keeper James Charlet, a speaker on the history of the United States Life-Saving Service. Over dinner, we learn fascinating stories about the brave surfmen who risked their lives rescuing shipwreck survivors along the treacherous Outer Banks coastline.
Finally, it's time for an unforgettable adventure at Jockey's Ridge State Park, home to the tallest living natural sand dune system in the eastern United States. With expert instructors from Kitty Hawk Kites, we take our very first hang gliding lesson and discover what it feels like to soar above the sand dunes!
