The question we get asked most often about filming "RV There Yet?" is what
is our favorite location? Both of us have our own answer to this question,
but it usually comes down to all of the destinations we visit are special in
some way.
Outer Banks
was one of those locations.
From the second you hit the
Oregon Inlet Bridge
along the
Cape Hatteras National Seashore
you are clocking out of reality and officially on vacation time - no ifs,
ands, or buts.
Just look at that view!! The bridge extends out over the water, with a
fishing pier down below, seagulls flying above, boats passing underneath as
it winds back to a sliver of land, and you're greeted with white sand dunes
on both sides. Probably one of the most exhilarating drives in the Winnebago
Adventurer this season. If you are traveling to the Outer Banks in the
future, below is our "Trip Map" that will provide driving directions to all the locations we visited on
the episode.
We were equally as thrilled when we pulled up to
Camp Hatteras RV Resort and Campground
to find out where we'd be camping for the week. Campsites on both sides of the
road for the beach enthusiasts or the sea-wall fisherman on
Pamlico Sound
side . . . sunrise v. sunset. Yes please!
Can't wait to share our OBX adventures with you. Click

Carolina.
